Climbing

Active during the summer season – beneath the numerous sports offers also climbing is a must for several mountain freaks. Following you find the description of the two climbing routes:

New Climbing route Tschenglser Hochwand 3.375m

Reachable by using the chairlift Kanzel and further to the Düsseldorfer Refuge. Then continuing on path n. 5, access on the normal path to the Tschenglser Hochwand.
Degree of difficulty: easy
Description: Key point directly at the start. The route passes over solid slabs of rock and there is therefore no danger of rockfalls. This safe climb goes up to a height of 3.200m and from there beyond an upper ridge to the summit. Numerous exposed places
Ascent time from the Düsseldorfer Refuge: approx. 3,5 hours
Descent: using the normal route
Secured section: 400 m
Height of the rock face: 400 m

Climbing route Tabarettaspitze 3.150m

It can be reached by using the chairlift Langenstein further to the Tabaretta Refuge heading in the direction of the North Wall of the Ortler.
Degree of difficulty: difficult
Description: the climb is exposed with difficult passages across slabs, shafts and intersections
Secured section: 700 m
Height of the rock face: 600 m
Descent via the Payer Refuge on path n. 4
